Following installation and purchase of license from Sygic ([...]) map downloading took about ten minutes over comcast for the approximately 400MB New Mexico file. I was looking for a PND replacement and this works great. It has better maps and the 7 in screen is excellent compared to an older 4.3in navigation device. The price is very good for its capabilities and with map updates and transferable license included it seems to be fairly future proof. Lane guidance is a welcome addition. Only drawbacks include an on-screen nag that appears when the speed limit is exceeded, hopefully this can be defeated, maps cannot be downloaded on a PC, only on the tablet and the terms of the license are ambiguous with regard to how long the map and application updates will come. I could not activate the software without a Product Code. After two frustrating days, I found the Product Code in the activation sequence but while I was on my laptop, not my Tablet I began the process only to learn that I needed a device code and an activation code. So I terminated the process until I could discover the device code. Then I proceeded to reinitiate the activation on my Tablet, where the software resides. No Product Code in sight, and message that the product was activated on another device (which it is not). I know the above sounds simple in theory, but beware, they do not make the activation process clear and understandable. Buy Co-Pilot. They have a better system.
